Asin blessed with a baby girl

Actress Asin and her husband Rahul Sharma have welcomed new member to their family. Asin gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday (Oct 24).

It is the first child for the 31-year-old actress and her husband, business magnet Rahul Sharma. She married Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in January 2016. She has been staying away from films after the wedding. A statement came from the couple: “We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic Baby Girl earlier today. The last 9 months have been most special and exciting for the both of us and We would like to thank all our well wishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support.”

Asin, born in Kerala, has acted in several Telugu films that include ‘Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi’, ‘Lakshmi Narasimha’, and ‘Sivamani’. In Bollywood she shot to fame with ‘Ghazini’.
