Telugu films had seen a huge jump in collections on Sunday. The footfalls in cinema theaters are increasing during weekends in Telugu states of late. While the new release ‘Aswathama’ had gained immensely yesterday, surprisingly even leftover movies like ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ and ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ had also witnessed houseful boards at many centers.

Naga Shaurya starrer ‘Aswathama’ debuted on the lower side on Friday but it saw growth on Saturday and gained hugely on Sunday. Overall, it was a pretty decent weekend for the movie in which Naga Shaurya showcased his action side. The film has collected more than Rs 4 crore share in its first weekend. At the USA box-office, it collected $132k (Rs 43 lakhs share) in the first weekend. 

On the other hand, Sankranthi movies ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ and ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ which almost ran out have suddenly seen a good jump in collections on Sunday. While Allu Arjun’s movie has already been declared as the non-Baahubali hit, Mahesh Babu’s movie has also emerged as a huge blockbuster
