Baahubali 2 hits the Russian theaters

'Baahubali 2’ is releasing in Russia today. After setting all-time new records at Indian box-office, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali 2’ is set to conquer the Russian box-office. Starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, the film’s story is about the battle for the ownership of an ancient kingdom between two brothers.
The film was released in April 2017 in India. It became all-time highest grossing Indian movie ever in India.
The film that also features Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sathyaraj grossed more than Rs 1700 cr worldwide. On December 29, the film hit the screens in Japan but it got lukewarm response there. It has to be seen how would the Russian audience receive this mammoth period musical drama.
