Balakrishna should have been invited: Teja

Director Teja has indirectly supported Nandamuri Balakrishna’s comments. Balakrishna made angry remarks against Megastar Chiranjeevi and others who had not invited him to their meetings with Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav about the resumption of movie shootings. This has created a huge controversy. 

Teja, in an interview with a YouTube channel, said it was wrong on part of Chiranjeevi’s group for not extending an invitation to Balakrishna and other leading directors.

“If the meeting that took place at Chiranjeevi’s residence and other locations were about to discuss issues pertaining to the movie industry, all the big stars and leading directors should have been invited. If it were personal meeting, no one should raise a question,” he said.

Teja recently announced two films, each one with Rana and Gopichand as heroes. However, the films are yet to be launched.
