Balakrishna undergoes rotator cuff surgery

Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna on Saturday underwent a major surgery to his shoulder. He was suffering from a torn rotator cuff. The one-hour long surgery took place at Continental Hospital by orthopaedic surgeons Dr. Deepthi Nandan Reddy and Dr.Babulkar.
57-year-old actor was injured while shooting for his 100th film "Gautamiputra Satakarni". Even though the doctors found the rotator cuff was torn, they found it was not necessary to perform surgery then. As the pain continued, the operation was performed.
The operation is successful and the actor is recovering well, said the hospital authorities. He will be commencing NTR's Biopic next month.
