Behind the scenes: Why Allu Arjun is angry about Mahesh?

There is a lot more than the simple business reason behind Allu Arjun forcing producers to change the release date of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’. Allu Arjun reportedly got infuriated with the alleged satirical comments of Mahesh Babu about his film.
The simple business reason is that his film would lose openings if it gets released in less number of screens on January 12. Earlier it was the case with ‘Naa Peru Surya’ and now with ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’. Perhaps, Mahesh is trying to downsize his star status is what Bunny feeling. Plus, he got the whiff that Mahesh Babu made some comments about the pre-release event plans of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’, which are not positive.
All things added, Allu Arjun has decided to take Mahesh Babu head-on this Sankranthi. Though there is a pressure from Bunny on producers, they have not yet officially announced the change of release date. As of now, the official release dates are - January 11 for ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ and January 12 for ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’. However, the trade believes that Bunny’s movie may opt for Jan 10.
