Bhagyashree roped in as Prabhas's mother

Remember Bhagyashree? She is most famous as the heroine of ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ aka ‘Prema Paavural’. A heartthrob for 90’s generation, she has now switched to playing character roles.

The 51-year-old senior actress is making her Telugu debut as a character actress in Prabhas’s current film. She had planned to enter into Telugu films in a film named ‘2 States’, actor Rajasekhar’s elder daughter Shivani’s debut movie but it was shelved after a few days’ shoot. So, Bhagyashree is officially making a debut as a character artist in Prabhas’s current movie which has ‘Jaan’ as the working title.

Our sources have informed that she’s playing Prabhas’s mother in this period drama that is being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. If this film clicks, we will be seeing Bhagyashree in more of Telugu films. She has been chosen to attract the North Indian audiences. Prabhas has a huge market in North India.
