Big Buzz: Rajinikanth with Mahesh Babu's director

Rajinikanth is most likely to be directed by AR Murugadoss.  The star Kollywood director has wielded the megaphone for other superstars in the past.  But the Rajini film will be the most prestigious one ever.  

It's said that this project will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures, the same banner that is producing Rajini's current film 'Petta'.  It seems the yet-to-be-announced movie will go on the floors only next year. 

There are speculations that it's timed to coincide with the election season.  In that case, it will be wrapped up very fast.  

After 'Kaala', the senior actor is firming up his schedules.  He joined 'Petta' soon after he was done with the Pa. Ranjith film.  '2.0' will hit the cinemas on Nov 29 and the shoot of 'Petta', in which he is playing a gangster, is at a brisk pace.
