Shankar's 2.0 starring Superstar Rajinikanth has already completed 60 percent of its shoot and the movie's original planned budget Rs 350 cr (reported).

The producers now claim that they have hiked the budget to Rs 400 Cr, a hike of Rs 50 Cr as more high end graphics are being used now. Whatever be these budget claims, buzz is that Shankar is now putting extra efforts to make it lavish and visually stunning movie as he has another one year's time to release.

This time is helping him to make it better with focus being put on visual effects.
