Slip of tongue is not uncommon. Celebrities do make comments in jest. If people are offended, they retract and apologize duly. But the case of Chalapathi Rao is different.

During the pre-release event of 'Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam' which was held on 21st May, the senior artiste recklessly made lewd comments about women.

When the host asked him for his views on Naga Chaitanya's character's line in the movie ('Girls are injurious to the peace of mind'), Chalapathi Rao said that they are fit for sleeping around with men! "Ammayilu hanikaram kadu kani.. Pakkalo ki paniki vastharu", he said unthinkingly.

This is hardly the first time that he has spoken this indecently. In the past too, forgetting his stature and place in the society, he made objectionable remarks on public stage. He is an artiste who has grown in age, but is still an immature in thinking.
