Now that lockdown 4.0 is underway, the time has come for the Telugu film industry to think about pro-corona shootings. Prime Ministers and Chief Ministers have declared that we have to learn to live with corona. In this backdrop, megastar Chiranjeevi has taken an initiative of holding a meeting with all the leading producers, directors, actors to plan strategies to resume shooting after lockdown.

The meeting will take place at Chiranjeevi’s office on Thursday (May 21).

The only way to bring the economy of the industry back on the rails is by resuming shootings first and then reopening the movie theaters. However, shootings require large gatherings in one place. It is impossible to shoot an action sequence or a song with limited cast and crew. So, Chiranjeevi and all bigwigs of Tollywood will discuss the way forward and formulate guidelines to maintain hygiene on the sets, physical distancing rules, other details.

After discussing them thoroughly, the representatives of the Telugu film industry will meet Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seeking permission to resume shootings. The reopening of theaters will also be discussed.

Big-budgeted movies like Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Acharya’, Prabhas’s 20th film, and Allu Arjun’s ‘Puspha’ need to commence their shootings. Then only the daily mineworkers, technicians, and other dependents on this industry would get work.
