Corona: Prabhas - Nag Ashwin film's shoot pushed to next year!

Prabhas's current film that is being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar has been halted due to coronavirus outbreak. This lockdown period is likely to be extended in April as well. There is also a talk that several European countries will impose a travel ban until May or June. So, Prabhas’s film will be affected.

Prabhas and his unit members discontinued their shooting schedule in Georgia and came back to Hyderabad as coronavirus positive cases are going up and international flights are being shut. They had not wrapped up their entire shoot plan in Georgia. They rushed back to India hoping to film it in Georgia later.

The film’s story is set in Europe. Hence they need to shoot at least some major part in a place that resembles an old European country. This is why Prabhas and his team have to wait for things to become normal. So, the movie’s release will also be pushed.

This will also affect director Nag Ashwin’s plans of launching Prabhas’s next movie from October. As things stand today, this film’s regular shoot will be pushed to 2021. The sci-fi drama will be produced by Ashwin Dutt.
