Superstar Rajinikanth will grace the pre-release event of ‘Darbar’ which is to be held on January 3rd. It will be conducted in Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. He will promote the Telugu version interacting with the local media for a day. 

‘Darbar’ is hitting the screens 9th January simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. Directed by Murugadoss, it has Nayanthara as the female lead and Nivetha Thomas as his daughter. Set in the backdrop of Mumbai city, Rajinikanth will be seen in a cop avatar. 

Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’ couldn’t succeed getting enough theaters in Telugu states but this time the movie will be allotted enough screens. Dil Raju is distributing it in the Nizam region. Anirudh Ravichander has provided the music.
