Day 1: Chitralahari takes decent openings

Despite delivering series of flops, Sai Dharam Tej has successfully managed to attract the audiences with his latest film ‘Chitralahari’. Although the film won just average reviews, it took modest openings on day one. Considering his flop streak, the day one collections can be considered as good.
The film has raked in about Rs 3 Cr from Telugu states with Rs 0.82 Cr in Nizam and another Rs 25 lakhs in Krishna district on the first day. If the film sustains this momentum this weekend, it would help Sai Dharam come out from slump phase.
Starring Sai Dharam Tej and Kalyani Priyadarshan, the movie is directed by Kishore Tirumala.
