Day 1: DJ takes bumper openings

Expectedly, Allu Arjun's "Duvvada Jagannadham' has taken flying start at box-office. Collections on the day one are terrific everywhere. The film is said to have collected Rs 4.5 Cr (share) in Nizam on the opening day. In Ceded too, the movie has collected a share of 2.70cr. Overall in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, it has collected record opening for Allu Arjun's movie beating his earlier best 'Sarrainodu'.

Although the film's talk and ratings from critics are not encouraging, it took good openigns on many factors. Some trade pundits predict that it may settle with above average to hit status, as there is no competition around. Moreover, people are dying to see a big film. After 'Baahubali 2', there wasn't a big movie in the last two months. 

And youngsters like the glamour of Pooja Hegde. All these factors may help the movie further.
