Day 1: Gang Leader takes a decent opening

Nani’s Gang Leader has taken a good opening in its first day at the box-office. The crime comedy thriller starring Nani and Priyanka Mohan took in about Rs 1.75 Cr in the Nizam region on its first day. Considering the low pre-release buzz, this is a decent amount.
The contribution from the Uttrandhra region Rs 61 lakhs on day one while the Guntur region fetched another Rs 46 lakhs. The overall share of the day one from the Telugu states is about Rs 4.40 Cr. This is a good opening for a Nani starrer as his recent films were not big hits.
At the USA box-office, it has collected about $349k on day 1 (premiere shows +Friday).
Directed by Vikram Kumar, this comedy thriller received pretty average reviews from the critics.
