Devi Sri Prasad cuts down films

Devi Sri Prasad will not be signing more than 4 or 5 films in a year. He wants to cut down assignments. Less films, more quality is the latest motto for him.

He has been facing severe criticism that he is rehashing his old tunes. Novelty in his tunes is lacking these days. Except ‘Rangasthalam’, none of his recent music albums were appreciated. Though ‘F2’ was a runway hit and a song or two in ‘Chitralahari’ became popular, his music on the whole was not applauded. ‘Maharshi’ was panned by critics for its mediocre tunes.

Now, he will be going A R Rahman way, very choosy in signing assignments.
