Puri Jagannadh, the director who delivered some of the sensational blockbusters in Tollywood that include ‘Idiot’ and ‘Pokiri’, is now going through rough phase. His recent films didn’t set cash registers ringing. Luckily for him, his new film titled ‘Mehbooba’, that marks the introduction of his son Akash Puri in the lead role as hero, is making all the right notes.
 
The film’s trailer received tremendous positive response. So impressed by Puri’s work, leading producer-distributor Dil Raju bought the movie’s theatrical rights for fancy price for AP and Telangana region. So, all is well and everything is going good for Puri Jagannadh.
 
Suddenly, there is news that he sold off his luxurious palatial mansion in Jubilee Hills to clear off some old debts. This is not the first time that Puri facing such rumors. Puri who doesn’t hide anything about his personal issues may give clarity on these rumors when he interacts with the media for promotions of ‘Mehbooba’.
