Rangasthalam’s jukebox is out. The album has total five songs and of them we have already heard the three songs. The album composed by Devi Sri Prasad reeks of rustic feel throughout true to the theme of the movie. The film directed by Sukumar is set in a fictional village called Rangasthalam on the banks of Godavari River. And the period is 1985.

The order of the songs in the album goes like this: 1. Yentha Sakkagunnave 2. Ranga Ranga Rangasthalana 3. Rangamma Mangamma 4. Aa Gattunutaava 5. Jigelu Rani

All the songs are written by Chandrabose. He has used old village style language in the expressions and the tunes are also composed in similar manner to recreate the 1980’s period.

‘Yentha Sakkgaunnave’ is still topping the chartbusters. Now the other two songs ‘Aa Gattuntaava’ and ‘Jigelu Rani’ have come up. The last song is an item number is which catchy.

Overall, the album seems to have done justice to the film’s theme. Director Sukumar and music director Devi Sri Prasad have so far not failed in their collaborations. ‘Rangasthalam’ proves that theirs is one of the best director-music director combinations in Tollywood. Let’s see how far these numbers help the movie at box-office.
