Young and talented music director Anirudh had given good music in his Telugu debut but the songs and the music didn't go well with the regular audiences. However, some of his songs in the album have worked for music lovers. The disastrous box-office result of Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram's  'Agnyaathavaasi' through which he entered into Tollywood left him heartbroken.

The failure forced Trivikram to change him for NTR's 'Aravindha Sametha' though his name was announced at the time of the movie launch. Thaman has replaced Anirudh in 'Aravindha Sametha'.
 
But the advance that he took for that film is still with him. So, producer Naga Vamshi wants to take him on board for his next production with Nani. Sources say Anirudh may take up Nani's "Jersey' to be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. If all goes well, this will be Anirudh's second Telugu movie.
