Exclusive: Ramya Krishna as Vijay Deverakonda's mother

Ramya Krishna is turning busy as an actress. Busy with two films - Puri produced ‘Romantic’ and Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Ranga Maarthanda’, the senior actress is now all set to play mother to Vijay Deverakonda.

After Ramya Krishna wrapped up her portion for ‘Romantic’, Puri Jagannadh immediately signed her to play a mother’s role in his next directorial venture ‘Fighter’. She has signed on the dotted line. ‘Fighter’ featuring Vijay Deverakonda is going to be made on a large scale in multiple languages. Telugu and Hindi markets will be the main focus and Ramya Krishna’s casting would help them as she is very popular in the Hindi belt with her role as Sivagami in ‘Baahubali’.

The film will commence its regular shoot after the Sankranthi festival in Mumbai. Karan Johar is co-producing it. Mani Sharma is providing the music. Puri Jagannadh will direct and produce it.
