False reports about Rajamouli's retirement go viral

This is another example of how statements are distorted or twisted in social media these days. In an interview, top director Rajamouli recently said that he would shift his base to a village in Nalgonda district when he retires from directing films. Rajamouli bought acres of land in that village to buy a huge farmhouse. This is his retirement plan. But he didn’t specify any time frame for it.

His statements were taken out of the context and social media and media have started writing about his retirement. It was said that the Baahubali director Rajamouli would stop directing movies after 5 years. He didn’t say that.

Rajamouli would work for another 15 or 20 years. The director of ‘Magadheera’, ‘Baahubali The Beginning’, and ‘Baahubali 2’, is currently filming ‘RRR’ with NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. He has also announced his next film with Mahesh Babu.
