This is the first pic of Vijayashanti from the sets of 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', her comeback movie. She has been away from the arclights for more than 13 years. She is playing a crucial role in Mahesh Babu's action drama 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' that is being directed by Anil Ravipudi.

The director has shared the photograph of Vijayashanti's first-day shoot.

"After 13 years.. It's make up time for  Vijayashanthi garu.. Nothing has ever changed in all these 13 years. Same discipline, same attitude and same dynamism. Welcome on-board @vijayashanthi_m," he posted on Twitter.

Mahesh Babu played as her son in 'Koduku Diddina Kapooram' in '80s when he was a child artiste. She is acting in a crucial role in this film. Known as Lady Amitabh, Vijayashanti ruled the industry for more than a decade as number one actress in the 90's. She won a national award as Best Actress for her fiery performance in 'Karthavyam'.
