First still of Kondareddy Buruju from Sarileru Neekevvaru comes out

The famous Kondareddy Buruju of Kurnool city has been recreated in Ramoji Film City for ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’. The Mahesh Babu starrer is progressing its shoot in this set of Kondareddy fort. Sharing a still of the set with Mahesh Babu’s silhouette image in the foreground, director Anil Ravipudi tweeted that the set has been recreated by AS Prakash.
The film’s story is set in the backdrop of Kurnool city.
“16 years ago, this location became iconic on the silver screen. Now we are back to the same location. This time we aim to make it bigger. Our production designer A.S Prakash garu recreated the location spectacularly. The man who brought Kurnool Kondareddy Buruju to Ramoji Film City,” Anil Ravipudi tweeted.
‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ is slated for Sankranthi 2020 release. The film is produced by AK Entertainments and Dil Raju’s SVC jointly. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead. Veteran actress Vijayashanti is making comeback in this film.
It must be remembered that Mahesh Babu’s first major blockbuster ‘Okkadu’ (2003) was shot on the actual location of Kondareddy Buruju in Kurnool.
