Gang Leader first week collections: below average

Nani starrer ‘Gang Leader’ has collected a mere 45 lakhs on Day 7 taking its total weekend haul to Rs 14.50 Cr share from the Telugu states. The crime comedy could not make an impact during the weekdays and ended as a below average in its first week.
The Vikram Kumar directed film raked in Rs 19 Cr worldwide in the first week.
The film opened well enough for the type of this genre but it could not maintain the same momentum after the first weekend. It saw a big fall on its first Tuesday and it never recovered. The film requires another Rs 6 Cr to reach the break-even stage in AP and Telangana.
‘Gang Leader’ mostly opened to lukewarm reviews with praises for Nani’s performance.
