Gopichand shelves an action thriller

After the debacle of ‘Chanakya’, Gopichand took several decisions to put his career back on track. Understanding that high-budgeted action thrillers are risky, Gopichand has scrapped a new film that was launched with much fanfare two months ago.

Sources have informed that Gopichand has decided to go with only Sampath Nandi’s film though he had announced three movies in the recent past. In September, he launched an action thriller in the direction of newcomer Binu Subramanyam for producer BVSN Prasad. Now the film has been shelved. 

Gopichand has been going through a bad phase. Nearly half a dozen movies bombed.
