Harish Shankar - Varun Tej film from January

Director Harish Shankar has locked a movie with Varun Tej finally. He was earlier planning to make a love story named ‘Nalugu Stambhalata’, a love story about two young couple but he has put the script aside. He has taken up a remake now. He is remaking Tamil dark comedy ‘Jigarthanda’ with Varun Tej in the lead role.

Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta are producing it on 14 Reels Plus banner.

Another actor will be playing a key role in the movie. Harish Shankar has successfully remade ‘Dabangg’ in Telugu as ‘Gabbar Singh’ with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. He is adept adapting other language hits in Telugu.

However, it is not clear when this film will go to the sets.
