Hello, the new age 'Yaadon Ki Bhaarat': Nagarjuna

Wednesday, December 6, 2017 - 19:30

Nagarjuna says ‘Hello’ is new age ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’ (1973), the classic Bollywood movie that popularized ‘lost-and-found’ formula in Indian cinema.

“It is quite emotional and thrilling movie. Entire story is set in a single day. The plot point begins at 7.30 am in the morning, ends at 5.30 pm. The simple plot line is this: an orphan boy who is raised by a beautiful family searches for his soul mate who is not in touch with him for 15 years. Vikram Kumar has weaved this movie with stunning action stunts, and emotional elements,” Nagarjuna said revealing the plot and other aspects.

‘Hello’ is the latest movie from Vikram Kumar, the director of ‘Manam’ (2014) and it features Akhil Akkineni as hero, and introduces Kalyani Priyadarshan, the daughter of actress Lissy and director Priyadarshan. Anup Rubens has composed the music.

“I consider this as Akhil’s launch movie though. This is how I wanted my son to be presented in his maiden film. So, I am treating this his debut movie,” he further said. Nagarjuna said he is not worrying about the competition from other films like Nani’s ‘MCA’ since he is full confident on this movie. “It has really come out well and will connect with all audiences like our Manam did,” Nag says.

The film’s audio will be launched in Vizag on 10 December and the pre-release event will be held in the third week of December in Hyderabad. “Akhil will also perform live on stage at audio event. It will be a different musical event,” Nag adds.
