Rana will join the shoot of director Venu Udugula’s ‘Virata Parvam’ in December. Rana has been away from the sets for the last five months. He is now roaring to do heavy action stunts as well. 

‘Virata Parvam’ is a love story set in the 1980s of Telangana when Naxal strife was at the peak. The film has many shootout sequences between Naxals and police officers. So, the team has roped in. Stefan Richter who composed stunning action stunts for ‘Uri: The Surgical strike’. He will realistically film such stunts. The international action director has also worked several Bollywood movies and he is now set to work for Rana’s movie.

‘Virata Parvam’ has Sai Pallavi as the main heroine for Rana. Nandita Das appears as Sai Pallavi’s mother. Director Venu Udugula’s previous film ‘Needi Naadi Oke Katha’ won critical acclaim. Rana is excited to join the shoot of ‘Virata Parvam’.
