Vijay Deverakonda’s maiden production ‘Meeku Maathrame Cheptha’ had raked in enough moolah at the box-office in its first weekend. The official statement is the film has grossed Rs 4.05 Cr in three days worldwide.
Made on a limited budget and sold for a very reasonable price, ‘Meeku Maathrame Cheptha’ has collected decent money. At present, it looks like a safe bet for Vijay Deverakonda. He has already sold off the satellite and digital rights to Star Maa and Hotstar respectively for a good amount.
The youthful entertainer is the debut film for Tharun Bhascker as a lead hero. Tharun made debut as a director with Vijay Deverakonda starrer ‘Pelli Choopulu’ and he had debuted as hero in Vijay D’s production. Abhinav Gomatam’s comedy and dialogues won good appreciation.
