I give importance to writing: Tharun Bhascker

Friday, November 1, 2019 - 13:00

'Pelli Choopulu' and 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' director Tharun Bhascker has worn the cap of an actor this year. He was seen in Vishwak Sen's 'Falaknuma Das' as a cop. For a newbie, he slipped into that role quite well. And he is testing his luck as the lead man in Shammeer Sulthan-directed 'Meeku Mathrame Cheptha'. It hit the screens today (November 1).

Meanwhile, the talented guy is all set to take up his third directorial venture in early 2020. It is going to be a horse race drama. Venkatesh will be seen as a punter who suffers from a midlife crisis.

Tharun has impressed Venkatesh with the story but he has not finished the final draft of the script. "I take plenty of time to write my films. I spend less amount of time on the shoot," he says. That's the right way to do. Pre-production works in efficient industries like Hollywood form 80 percent of the work. Once it is done meticulously, execution should be easy.

The film will be bankrolled by Suresh Babu on Suresh Productions banner.
