I promise to make good movies only: RGV

Ram Gopal Varma promised Nagarjuna that he would not do movies that spoil his reputation from now onwards. "I will make movies that are watchable, that make you proud of. It is my oath," Ram Gopal Varma declared this on the stage of 'Vangaveeti' function held on Dec 20 in Hyderabad. 'Vangaveeti', RGV's latest film, releases on 23rd Dec.

Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Rajamouli, Boyapati and others were present. Nagarjuna revealed that many directors came to him with the proposal of doing sequel to iconic 'Shiva' (1989) but I didn't accept. "Shiva has changed my life. I gave RGV chance to direct me and he actually gave me a big break. If ever, I will do Shiva 2, it ought to be directed by him," he said.

Venkatesh brought the house down when he spoke about Sridevi and RGV. The trio did popular movie 'Kshana Kshanam'. "RGV asked me once did I feel bad that he focused more on Sridevi than me in the film. I never felt like then nor do I feel now. It was wonderful experience working on the movie," he said.
