Shruti Haasan is very vocal about her opinions. Her concern is about the safety of woman. The actress says that India is not a safe place for women. As an actress and as a woman she has faced several issues. 

Recently a doctor had been sending her abusive and derogatory messages via Twitter. Couple of years ago she was stalked and attacked by a stalker in her home at Bandra. She tackled both these issues by lodging a complaint with the police. Despite all this the actress has risen. She has spoken against the problems faced by women in real life.
