Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari ranks among top 25 films!

Megastar Chiranjeevi and Sridevi starrer ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’ was released on May 9, 1990. On the eve of completion of 30 years of its release, producer Ashwini Dutt and his production house Vyjayanthi Movies is releasing videos of the cast and crew. Megastar Chiranjeevi termed that the film is a timeless classic. “The film strikes a chord with anyone irrespective of their age. It is timeless,” he said.

Interestingly, he put the movie in the list of all-time 25 greatest movies ever made in Telugu. “Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari definitely features in the 25-Best Telugu films,” he stressed.

Directed by K Raghavendra Rao, ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’ was a fantasy film that had a great soundtrack. Ilayaraja’s songs like ‘Abba Nee Tiyyani Debba’ and ‘Andalalo Mahodayam’ are all-time favorites for music lovers. 

‘Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari’ in which Sridevi played an angel broke existing box-office records back then.
