Jagapathi Babu as YSR's father

The biopic of Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy is on its way to release. Titled 'Yatra', the film will see Mammootty playing as YSR. 'Anandho Bramha' director Mahi V Raghav has directed this biopic and 70 MM Entertainments is bankrolling the movie.

Jagapathi Babu has been roped in to play Raja Reddy, father of YS Rajashekar Reddy. The look was released.

The producers Vijay Chilla, Shashi Devireddy say "The great leader Dr. YS Rajashekar Reddy’s Padayathra is one of historical event in the political history of combined Andhra Pradesh and this movie will mainly comprise of the important events occurred during the Padayathra in which he went to each and every village to listen to the farmers and poor people in the state. Mammootty lived in the YS Rajashekar’s character. He gave his own voice to the character."
