Janatha Garage: Most watched Telugu movie on TV

NTR was declared as hero of the year in 2016 with two back-to-back hits with 'Nannaku Prematho' and 'Janatha Garage'. His 'Janatha Garage' was number one blockbuster at Telugu cinema box-office last year. The movie released on September 1st in 2016 premiered on Maa TV even before it completed 50 days run in movie theaters.

Now the film has emerged as the most watched Telugu movie on Television in year 2016. Of all the movies screened on various General Entertainment channels, this was the most watched movie in 2016, as per the latest announcement of BARC India, TV audience monitoring agency.

'Janatha Garage' grossed more than Rs 100 Crs worldwide. The film is all-time third biggest hit in Tollywood.
