Kabir Singh is bigger hit than Baahubali 2!? Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’, is all set to touch Rs 250 Cr nett in India very soon. It has already crossed Rs 225 Cr. Made with a budget of Rs 60 Cr, the film is set to become one of the all-time highest grossing Hindi movies in India. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, it also attracted huge criticism. The director’s recent interview to journalist Anupama Chopra has also rankled feminists.

However, maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is all praise for Sandeep Vanga. According to RGV, ‘Kabir Singh’ is bigger hit than ‘Baahubali 2’ (only Hindi version). “Speaking only of Hindi, In ratio of ROI(Return on investment) @imvangasandeep ‘s KABIR SINGH is 4 times bigger hit than BAHUBALI 2 and taking time into consideration it is 16 times bigger hit than BAHUBALI 2 considering KABIR SINGH was made in 6 months and BAHUBALI 2 in 2 years,” he tweeted.

He further added, "amazing thing about @imvangasandeep is that his story and it’s characters are the exact opposite of what the film industry always believed,what the audience will love and relate to .. #KabirSingh ‘s monstrous success proves that he knows the actual reality of the audience."

Both ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘Kabir Singh’ are directed by Telugu filmmakers. Rajamouli has completely changed dynamics of box-office in India with ‘Baahubali’ movies while Sandeep Vanga’s movie connected to the youth. Rajamouli’s movie is huge in every aspect. Both have put our Telugu film industry in focus.
