Kalyan Ram's MLA has the right 'Lakshanalu'

'MLA' stands for 'Manchi Lakshanalunna Abbayi' and the film too seems to have the right traits. Among the releases on March 23, this is going to have the biggest theatrical release. As many as 200 premiere shows have been planned on the 22nd in the US.

Directed by Upendra Madhav, 'MLA' is a proper mass entertainer for Kalyan Ram. 'Pataas' had highly saleable elements and after a gap of three years, the Nandamuri star seems to have another potential 'pataas' in his kitty. Kalyan Ram's larger-than-life character comes with punch dialogues directed at the villain.

The first half's corporate backdrop and the second half's village backdrop also must have allowed the writers the bandwidth to include a variety of situations. Kajal Aggarwal's glamour and the comedy of Prudhvi and Vennela Kishore (as the henpecked 'Bava' of the hero) are expected to be an icing on the cake.

Since the makers have got Mani Sharma and Prasad Murella to compose the music and handle cinematography, good production values are a given.
