Kannada star Dhananjay to step in Pushpa

Daali Dhananjaya, better known for ‘Tagaru’, is a popular young Kannada star. He is now making his Telugu debut. The actor has been roped in to play an important character in director Sukumar’s new revenge drama ‘Pushpa’ starring Allu Arjun. No, he is not playing the main villain’s role. His is going to be a special role.

As Allu Arjun is planning this as a pan-Indian movie, he is roping in actors from Bollywood, Kollywood, Kannada movie industry in important roles. Thus Dhananjaya is roped in. This Kannada stare also acted in Ram Gopal Varma produced a bilingual movie ‘Bhairava Geetha’.

‘Pushpa’ will begin its regular shoot once the government allows shootings. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling this mega-budgeted action drama set in the backdrop of Seshachalam forests.
