Karthi steals Chiranjeevi's Donga title

Karthi seems to have developed a sentiment for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s movie titles. ‘Khaidi’ is a milestone movie in Chiranjeevi’s career. Karthi took this iconic title for his recent thriller and the film became a huge hit. 

With the success of ‘Khaidi’, he has now named his next film as ‘Donga’, which also happens to be Chiranjeevi’s old movie title. Karthi is acting in a Tamil film named ‘Thambi’ that also features his sister-in-law Jyothika in a key role. Being directed by Jeethu Joseph (‘Drushyam’ Malayalam director), this film’s Telugu version has been named ‘Donga’.

It is set for release next month. “#Thambi #Donga has been planned for more than a year. Happy with the way it’s shaped up. Thanks to #JeethuJoseph sir for making it a very enjoyable experience,” he tweeted. The film’s first look is out.
