The condition of Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar who has been put under the Intensive Care Unit is slowly improving, the doctors said. Her condition remains stable but she needs to be observed for many days. 

Lata Mangeshkar is considered as Nightingale of India. She was awarded the Bharat Ratna for her contribution to Indian film music. Lata also sang a couple of songs in Tollywood as well. ‘Niduraporaa Tammudaa’ (Santhanam, 1955), ‘Sree Venkatesha’ (Dorikitey Dongalu), ‘Tellacheeraku’ (Aakhari Poratam, 1989) were her Telugu songs.
