Lavanya Tripathi makes sensible caste tweet, deletes it

Om Birla, the Lok Sabha Speaker, recently spoke in favour of the Brahmin community by linking their status in the Hindu society to a mythological event related to Parashurama. He was speaking at an outreach programme. Actress Lavanya Tripathi, a Brahmin by birth, has waded into the issue by questioning the tone of "superiority" in the discourse.
"Being a Brahmin, I don't understand this whole superiority feeling some of these Brahmins have. You become superior or inferior because of your acts, not because of your caste," the 'Andala Rakshasi' and 'Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy' actress tweeted out.
For whatever reason, she soon deleted the tweet. Lavanya's tweet makes complete sense, though! As her Twitter bio reads, she is indeed much more than just a pretty face.
On work front, she is waiting for new offers.
