Lavanya Tripathi

Lavanya Tripathi is back in the reckoning. The UP-born girl, whose films are mostly hits, didn't seem to be doing as many films as she should have, even after the back-to-back hits 'Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy' and 'Soggade Chinni Nayana'. After the disastrous 'Lacchimdeviki O Lekkundi' last year, she got a booster with the success of 'Srirastu Subhamastu'.

The 'Andala Rakshasi' girl is once again on the rise. She just bagged Ravi Teja's 'Touch Chesi Chudu' as one of the two heroines. Sharing screen space with the Mass Maharaja is something she must be looking forward to. This big-ticket film boasts of excellent production values.

On the other hand, she has been shooting for Varun Tej's 'Mister'. Directed by the star director Sreenu Vaitla, Lavanya in this film has a traditional, bubbly girl's role. A love story that may well be novel, this could well go a long way in making her a much sought-after heroine in Tollywood. In Tamil, she has 'Mayavan', a science fiction thriller, opposite Sundeep Kishan.
