Lengthy runtime locked for Dear Comrade

‘Dear Comrade’ starring Vijay Deverakonda has completed its censor formalities by obtaining UA certificate. The film will be releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages simultaneously. Hence, the censor formalities were completed in so advance.

What should be noted is its lengthy runtime. The movie’s final runtime is 169 minutes (2 hours 49 minutes). It has become a regular feature for Vijay Deverakonda’s movies. His ‘Arjun Reddy’ had a 3-hour runtime.

‘Dear Comrade’ narrates the love story between a College student and a women cricketer of the same college. Set in the backdrop of Kakinada town, the film boasts of a terrific soundtrack. Directed by newcomer Bharat Kamma, the film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

It is set for July 26 release. Rashmika Mandanna has played the female lead. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are considered as a hit pair among the trade circles. Will they able to create the same magic they did in ‘Geetha Govindam’.
