Sunday, March 22, 2020 - 19:30

It is time to contain the local spread of coronavirus. This is a crucial phase. As positive cases are going up slowly, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Sunday announced a total lockdown of the state. The total lockdown will be imposed until March 31st.

He also announced the closure of all inter-state borders and no vehicle will be allowed into the state.

However, essential services like milk and vegetables will be exempted from the lockdown. Only one person from each family would be allowed to shop for these essentials. As we reported earlier, movie theaters and shootings have already been shut in Telangana.
