M M Keeravani: I will continue as music composer

It was more than two years ago that M M Keeravani almost announced with certainty his retirement after 'Baahubali 2'. As per his own admission, most number of people have urged him to rethink the same. Finally today, the prolific music director has said that he won't be retiring.
"On my own terms will my journey continue," he today tweeted.
By this, he means that he won't be a subordinate to any director. Rarely has he ever, if at all, spoken in harsh terms. Today he has done that when he said that most of the directors in Tollywood are brainless! "The chances of me continuing are less and less as there are more and more brainless directors in Tollywood," he said. This must have hurt many. Not even the director can boss over my tunes, the music director said forcefully.
"With Veturi garu's departure and Sirivennela's ill-health, the Telugu lyric is bed-ridden now," he said in another hard-hitting tweet. At a time when RGV is making news mostly for the wrong reasons, Keeravani raised a toast to him by describing him as a genius. He lamented that RGV has associated himself with cheap productions!
To K Raghavendra Rao, who MM described as his godfather, he advised to concentrate on 'Pelli Sandadi'-type movies.
He was thankful to Nagarjuna for being with him through thick and thin. "Like he said in the song Telusa Manasa, I am grateful to him," Keeravani said. He also said no one director would come close to the level of his cousin S S Rajamouli.
