Mahanati gets censored, gets U certificate

The much awaited biopic ‘Mahanati’ is all set for grand release on May 9th. The film has been given clean U certificate from censors. CBFC members showered praises on the movie. 

Mahanati is made on life story of yesteryear legendary actress Savitri. Keerthy Suresh’s spitting image looks as Savitri has raised expectations on the movie. Dulquer Salmaan essays Gemini Ganesan while Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Deverakonda play key roles. 

Teaser has got amazing response. Songs composed by Mickey J Meyer are topping the charts. The film has got ensemble star cast of Dr. Mohan Babu, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Malavika Nair, Bhanu Priya, Shalini Pandey, Divya Vani, Srinivas Avasarala and others.

Director Naga Ashwin and his team of technicians have put great effort in recreating the glorious period of Telugu Cinema on silver screen.
