Mahanati logo unveiled in video format

On the eve of Savitri's birth anniversary, the team of 'Mahanati' unveiled its logo in typical 'Mayabazar' style. In the classic Mayabazar (1957), directed by K V Reddy, Savitri watches her lover through a device called priyardarshini (a sort of video calling in those days).

So, the director Nag Ashwini came up with this idea of unveiling the movie's title logo in the same priyadarshini. The video has medley of songs that Savitiri starred in.

'Mahanati' is life story of legendary actress Savitiri being produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. Keerthy Suresh is essaying the role of Savitri. It also features Dulquer Salmaan and Samantha in other roles.
