Maharshi: IT raids on Dil Raju's office

In a few hours, 'Maharshi' will be screening in theaters worldwide. On Wednesday afternoon, Income Tax officers carried out raids on Dil Raju's office. It is said that the officers were alerted with the production house claims that it did record business. The production team leaked the information that it did nearly Rs 140 Cr theatrical and non-theatrical business.

These claims may create buzz in media and make fans happy but the Income Tax officers don't keep silent reading all these. They pay a visit to the offices of the production houses. The officers are now looking into the account books, whether the company really paid advance amount on the so-called 'record' pre-release business.

'Maharshi' is Mahesh Babu's 25th movie. It is produced by Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP together but carries Dil Raju's banner as the main production house. The film has Pooja Hegde as the heroine. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, it has Naresh as in another key role.
