Maharshi US distributor to lose Rs 2 Cr

While Mahesh Babu’s ‘Maharshi’ did roaring business in domestic market, the film has not picked up collections in its second weekend at USA box-office. It may run for another week or so but it doesn’t have bright prospects. So, it is a flop in USA market.

The film’s cumulative gross now stands at $1.74 million. It may touch $1.8 million mark by end of its total run. The distributors stand to lose about Rs 2 Cr.

‘Maharshi’ is Mahesh Babu’s 25th film but the movie didn’t take great openings in USA. It seemed to pick up after fourth day but thereafter it continued the same trend of posting low amounts.
